The information regarding my activities has been divided into two parts. One part includes my most recent activities in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at University of Delaware since Septermber 1996, together with a number of my graduate students from McGill. This part is still evolving and is under active construction. Another part includes my past activities at McGill University from July 1987 until Aug. 1996. In 1987-1988, I founded the Advanced Computer Architecture and Program Structures Group (ACAPS) along with a number of of my graduate students (Herbert Hum, Robert Yates, etc.). In December 1992, it was renamed to Advanced Compilers, Architecture, and Parallel Systems (ACAPS) group, after the arrival of Prof. L. Hendren and P. Panaganden, and the rapid expansion of the group's research interest and areas. The ACAPS lab consists of 4 faculty members, several post-doctoral research fellows at various times, and a number of Doctoral and Masters' students. Within the lab, there have been a number of exciting research projects. ACAPS Members at the new Delaware group and at the McGill group are sharing a lot of interests in common, and active interactions and collaborations cross the boarder have been an integrate part of their lives.
